Late-developing supernumerary premolars: remote intercurrence in the post-orthodontic treatment period

This article describes the appearance of late-developing supernumerary premolars and reviews the relevant literature. Three case reports illustrate the text. In order to avoid unpredictability, the treatment consists in the extraction of the supernumerary elements  (Rev Esp Ortod. 2010;40(2):109-118)
