This method enables mesial movement of the lower molars, while controlling the position of the incisors, when it is necessary to reduce anchorage in order to close the space left by first lower molar loss, due to decay or programmed extraction. The method involves the application of the C-straight wire technique performed using four T-loop archwires. We first present a biomechanical laboratory study and statistical analysis of a sample of 36 cases. In the second part, we present the clinical application of this method supported by individual case studies.  (Rev Esp Ortod. 2000;30(4):317-324)
