This case report is presented to illustrate the clinical
application of autotrasplantation of a permanent
tooth to replace a lost maxillary incisor. As it is seen
in this example the approach can lead to a satisfactory
permanent substitution of a lost or missing tooth.
The solution is, in our opinion, superior to replacement
with a dental implant or bridge and should be
considered in young patients where a permanent
tooth is missing or lost.
