Treatment protocols of two-dimensional techniques allow you to treat every type of malocclusion with high-quality results. A crucial point of treatment with conventional methods is the collaboration of the patient, especially in non-extraction cases. The introduction of the use of mini-screws and developing a protocol integrated with the two-dimensional technique (MGBM system) has made it possible to solve this problem while keeping unaltered the quality standard required. The treatment is divided into three phases that extraction cases boil down to two where traditional anchoring systems such as rubber bands and headgears are replaced by mini-screws. The article discusses clinical stages, highlighting the peculiarities of treatment related to the use of TADs.  (Rev Esp Ortod. 2012;42(4):229-239)
