Although Class II syndrome has been described and classified by different authors we are aware of the clinical need of a precise definition of its concomitant characteristics in order to differentiate groups with common features to establish treatment protocols. This is the aim of this work. We have compared the groups described by Moyers with the groups that we have obtained after the application of a binary dendogram and cluster analysis. The therapeutic possibilities of the Class II syndrome are described and each of the obtained groups is illustrated by a clinical case.  (Rev Esp Ortod. 2000;30(4):365-372)
